Security policies

Fund security and user information is our top priority

BLK TRADE platform is equipped with multi-layer safety features such as two-factor authentication, Know Your Customer, email encryption, automatic backup and numerous other security factors. We greatly value our customers’ funds and data privacy, and thus ensure all security requirements are
up-to-date around the clock..

The overwhelming majority of system funds are stored in offline,
multi-signature cold wallets. Just about 0.5% of crypto assets are accessible
in hot wallets to allow day-to-day platform operation. Additionally, cold wallets are not available via platforms or platform servers.
Security measures highlighted below are in place by default,
and others can be activated depending on the security level needed.

Latest Linux systems to host the platform

Constant updates to our systems
are necessary in preventing bugs and ensuring that security remains at the highest level.

Withdrawals protection factor

Users can place a limit on their account, which acts as withdrawal protection and ensures that user’s account will not fall below zero.

Protection from DDoS attacks

We have undertaken security measures that will protect customer data and funds in case of Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack.

(2FA) Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication is used when the user signs into their account. It consists of two layers – a password created by the user and a verification code sent to the user via email or SMS.

(U2F) Universal second factor

As an extra layer for the two-factor
authentication, BLK TRADE’s platform uses a universal second factor authentication standard, which helps prevent phishing and
other credential-stealing attacks.

Automatic real-time backup of the database

BLK TRADE’s platform is automatically backed up in real-time to ensure safe recovery of data.

Advanced verification tools

To comply with anti-money laundering
requirements, we implemented software modules such as: Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB) and automatic checks in international watch lists for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Sanctions.

Email encryption with OpenPGPns

BLK TRADE’s platform uses OpenPGP
email encryption standard for end-to-end email communication and messaging to shield sensitive information and improve cloud security.

Advanced API key permissions

Generation of advanced API keys
is used to regulate users
permission when accessing various
functionalities of their account,
in order to avoid any possible fraudulent activities.
